Arrests Made After East Paulding High Vandalism

Authorities say they arrested 19 individuals and more charges are pending after an early Sunday incident.

Paulding County Sheriff’s Office deputies have made 19 arrests in connection with an early Sunday vandalism of East Paulding High School—and more arrests could be made as the investigation continues.

According to PCSO Cpl. Ashley Henson, the vandalism occurred just before 4 a.m. Sunday. Some of those arrested are East Paulding students, but authorities are not sure if all involved are students at the school, Henson said.

According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the vandalism involved the words “seniors” and “2012” spray-painted across the school campus, signs and a county-owned truck, as well as the entrance to a subdivision nearby. In all, authorities found more than 100 instances of graffiti.

Dallas-Hiram Patch will have more on this story as it develops.

It is so sad that these kids have damaged their school, ruined their education, and future for a job. Kids need to realize that their are consequences for their actions and this could get them jail time which will ruin their lives. The kids and their parents should have to pay to get the school cleaned up. This will cost the parents a lot of money to get the kids out of trouble. The kids need to learn a hard lesson for their actions.

In past years you have to wonder why does this keep happening do they not warn the SENIORS if you repeat what happened last year...I mean clearly it doesn't seem to be getting thru to the students.

This does not happen every year. They usually only spray paint the street like last year. One parent had the nerve to say "At least these kids are drug addicts." Like these families are so good that these children could never be drug addicts. Really? No they may not be drug addicts but they are just as stupid.
