It didn’t take long for those affected by the tornado and accompanying weather to receive aid from their neighbors.

In the two attached videos, hear from Pastor Brad Fussell of First Assembly of God of Dallas and Senior Pastor Keith Arp of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Temple about how their churches aided Saturday some those impacted by the storms. Members of the two churches gave food and drink and more to Clear Creek subdivision residents whose houses received damage and those cleaning up and making repairs in the wake of the severe weather that struck Paulding as the weekend began.

If you have details of how your church, business or nonprofit aided storm victims this weekend, please share them in the comments below. You may also share information about future opportunities for storm victims to receive aid.

Blogger Helen Maddox on her site offers those who have survived disaster a step-by-step action plan to find assistance.

Within hours of daybreak on Saturday morning, Little Caesars handed out, what seemed to an endless supply of Emergency Relief Certificates for 2 pizzas to the Residents, Relief Workers and and First Responders working the effected areas.
From what I saw of the certificates it was over 200 pizzas.
