Senate District 30
The district covers a southern portion of Paulding County, most of Carroll County and a western portion of Douglas County. Four men are in the Nov. 6 special election to replace on the ballot Bill Hamrick, the Republican who represented the district and was tapped by Gov. Nathan Deal to serve as superior court judge—Mike Dugan, Bill Hembree, James Naughton and Glenn Richardson.
The winning Republican will move on to face James Camp, a Libertarian, in a Jan. 8 special election to ultimately determine the district’s next senator.

House District 67
Residents of State House District 67, which includes a southeastern portion of Paulding County, have seen a change in their House race since the July 31 primary.
In that election, Republican and incumbent Bill Hembree and Democratic challenger Leigh Mcmutry won the nominations of their respective parties after each ran unopposed.
Since then, Hembree resigned to pursue the GOP nomination for the District 30 State Senate seat. Now in his place on the ballot is Micah Gravley, who was named by GOP leaders last month to be the party's candidate in the general election.

House District 66
Voters won’t see the word “incumbent” on their ballots in the State House District 66 race. That’s because the two candidates in the race—Democrat Kimberly Alexander and Republican Bob Snelling—are vying to become the newly created district’s first-ever representative.

U.S. Representative, District 14
Tom Graves, R-Ranger, just had his district changed to absorb Paulding thanks to redistricting. Graves, who had no opposition from his own party, faces Daniel "Danny" Grant of Fort Oglethorpe.

Gary Johnson and Dr. Jill Stein to be aired tonight on Monday evening, Nov. 5th from 9:00 - 10:30 pm Eastern Time. Perform a worthwhile civic duty, and be certain to listen in on this historic debate so that you can make an informed decision on voting day. Third party candidates who will be on the ballot in most states deserve to be heard.
