Dallas Man Involved in Rollover Crash
The crash happened Saturday afternoon on Highway 92; the driver was taken to a hospital for treatment.
A Dallas man was the sole person involved in a rollover crash Saturday afternoon that led Paulding authorities to shut down the roadway.
Via a Nixle alert, Paulding County E911 just before 5 p.m. Saturday advised locals to avoid Highway 92 north of East Paulding Middle School following a rollover crash.
Georgia State Patrol Spokesman Gordy Wright told Dallas-Hiram Patch Sunday night that the crash involved a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Coy Michael Sullens, 53, of Dallas. According to Wright, Sullens was traveling north on Highway 92 when his vehicle left the roadway, hit a ditch, culvert and mailbox before striking a tree and coming to rest.
Sullens was taken to WellStar Kennestone Hospital for treatment and will be charged with failing to maintain lane, Wright said.
