Help Paulding Schools Win $100,000
The Felix family has won $500 for making the top 24 in Patch's Deck the House contest. Vote for the home as the Best Decked House in all of Patch, and Paulding County Schools could win $100,000.

Paulding County Schools could receive a late Christmas present with your help: $100,000.
That’s because the Felix family’s light display, which this week was named Dallas-Hiram Patch's nominee for Patch’s nationwide Deck the House contest, has been named one of the 24 finalists.
Patch users—you—have until Jan. 8 to vote for the Best Decked House in all of Patch; the grand prize winner’s school district gets a $100,000 donation from Patch, no strings attached.
The Felix home is the only finalist from Georgia.
Go to deckthehouse.patch.com to see all the nominees and to cast your vote for the Felix house. You may vote once daily through Sunday, Jan. 8, at 11:59 p.m.
Regardless of whether the Paulding school system takes the big prize, the Felix family wins up to $500 to put toward their December power bill for making the top 24. From the looks of their display, the Felixes probably can use the cash.

I voted. They are in 2nd place right now. The house in Davis, CA looks like a runaway at this point. But congratulations for making it to the finals!

$100,000 for the school board to turn around and give themselves another bonus with. Cuz we all know that is what would happen. The money would not go anywhere near putting more teachers in the schools, school repairs, better equipment, etc.

It's the final day to vote. It is, of course, up to the Paulding school board and administration to decide how to use the $100,000 if we win. But I'd rather see them have the chance than some school district in California.
