Funeral Announcements: Dec. 30

James Harold Burns: The 82-year-old Hiram resident died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2011. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 31, at Bellamy Chapel Hiram with Dennis Bellamy officiating. The family will receive visitors Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.

Christine Marie Gourley: Feb. 18, 1953 - Dec. 26, 2011. The Dallas resident was cremated and no services are planned at this time.

Thomas Alton Holland Jr.: Feb. 8, 1931 - Dec. 28, 2011. Funeral services for the Douglasville resident will be held Saturday, Dec. 31, at 2 p.m. from the Benson Funeral Home chapel, with the Rev. Jeremy Hicks officiating. Interment will follow in the Willow Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from noon until time of service at 2 p.m.

Debra Sue Mauldin Thompson: May 7, 1958 - Dec. 28, 2011. Funeral services will be held Friday Dec. 30, at 2 p.m. from the Beulahland Baptist Church with the Rev. Kent Bankston and the Rev. Steve Goldin officiating, with Billy Cleveland giving a eulogy and prayer. Interment will follow in the Beulahland Baptist Church Cemetery with Bill Siskey, Jerry Hulsey, Chet Goldin, Harold Thompson, David Turner and Billy Cleveland serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Thompson will lie in state at the church on Friday from 1:30 p.m. until the hour of the service at 2.

Jewel Graham: March 12, 1927 - Dec. 28, 2011. Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 30, at 11 a.m. from the First United Methodist Church of Dallas, with the Rev. Chris Pavlovsky and Lorren Wills officiating. Interment will follow in Dallas Memory Gardens, with Ken Graham, Keith Graham, Gene Graham, Ralph Graham Jr., Tommie Graham and Max Pritchard serving as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Dallas Building Fund, 141 E. Memorial Drive, Dallas, GA 30132; or American Heart Association, 1101 Northchase Parkway SE No. 1, Marietta, GA 30067-6411.

Albert Mason: July 20, 1925 - Dec. 26, 2011. Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 30, at 3 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, with Pastor Bill Reese officiating. The interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens.

Gloria Diane Stoyles: Oct. 1, 1968 - Dec. 23, 2011. Graveside services will be held at Paulding Memorial Gardens on Friday, Dec. 30, at 1 p.m. with Pastor John Stowe officiating. Pallbearers will be Tommy Rush, Tim Doss, Seymore Scoggins, Jeremy Benson, Jason Benson and Randall Cosby. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, Dec. 30, from 11 a.m. until leaving for the cemetery.
