Michael L. Carr: June 4, 1953 - Sept. 1, 2012. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 3 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Harry Hawkins, the Rev. Chris Branscomb, and Mitzi Oats officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. Steve Smith, Kris Thompson, Eric Smith, Deric Smith, Eric Roberson, Chuck Hart and Fred Wethington will serve as pallbearers. Garmon Oats will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

Marion Cocchi: March 11, 1925 - Aug. 30, 2012. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 11 a.m. from Clark Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Dan Allwein, Scott Allwein, Eric Dunn, Jesse Eaves, Bill Williams, Eddie Brown and Andrew Smith will serve as pallbearers.

Amalia Dell'Aira: April 6, 1917 - Sept. 2, 2012. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Sept. 5, at 1 p.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Dallas, with Father Adrian Pleus officiating. The interment will be held later in the week in Mount Olivet Cemetery South in Middletown, N.J.. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 680 West Memorial Drive, Dallas, GA 30132.

Aurelia Yarcia: Nov. 12, 1919 - Sept. 2, 2012. A memorial mass will be held Thursday, Sept. 6, at 9:30 a.m. from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Dallas, with Father Adrian Pleus officiating.

Tyler Lentz, Hunter Lentz, Clint Bruns, Chad Giles, James Shell and Phillip Smith will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow at High Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, Sept. 5, from 5 to 9 p.m.; and Thursday, Sept. 6, from 9 a.m. until the time of service.

Lasker Wylie Rakestraw: June 30, 1935 – Sept. 2, 2012. Rakestraw will lie in state at Narroway Baptist Church on Wednesday, Sept. 5, from 1 p.m. until his funeral service begins at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Todd Tibbitts and the Rev. Hershel Tibbitts officiating. Music will be provided by Jeff Eberhart, Reid Hardy, Fannie Holcomb and Papa’s Prayer. Wiley Cates, Collin Lyle, Sammy Freeman, Jody Miller, John Rakestraw and Josh Rakestraw will serve as pallbearers. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Kendall Smith, Steve Rakestraw, Chris Hambrick, Scott Rakestraw, Tim Rakestraw, Benji Dockery, Lamar Tibbitts, Steve Cates, Trent Tibbitts, Curtis Miller and Brad Ballew. Graveside services will be conducted by the Masons. Interment will follow at Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, Sept. 4, from 5 to 9 p.m.; and Wednesday, Sept. 5, from 9 a.m. until departure in procession for the church at 1 p.m.
