Paulding County deputies are investgating a homemade bomb found in a yard on Bethel Church Road.

According to an incident report, the resident found the bomb -- which was comprised of gas and a candlewick inside a mason fruit jar -- while he was mowing his backyard. Matches were found next to the bomb.

Officials said that no other information would be available until the crime lab releases results from the bomb. There are no suspects or leads at this time.
