More Voting Sites Open Today
Paulding County voters will have the chance to cast ballots at three satellite locations as well at the county’s elections office during this week’s advance voting period.
With still more than a week to go before the actual election day, Paulding County voters now have the chance to visit one of four polling locations if they wish to get their vote out of the way.
Advance voting gets under way today, and officials from the Paulding County Elections & Voter Registration will open at 8 a.m. today three satellite polling places—Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 2056 Hiram Douglasville Highway, Hiram; Mount Tabor Park, 1550 East Paulding Drive, Dallas; and the Crossroads Library, 909 Harmony Grove Church Road, Acworth. Voting hours at these three sites are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.
The three sites bring the number of places open for voting this week to four, as voting at the county’s elections office continues today and will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday.
After the polls close Friday at 5, county voters’ last chance to cast ballots will be at their assigned polling place on July 31. The polls will be open that day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
