Saturday Voting Being Offered Today

Paulding County voters will have seven hours today to cast their ballots ahead of the July 31 primary. More voting opportunities will open up next week.

Those who may find it difficult to find time to vote on July 31’s election day or even next week during advance voting are in luck today.

Paulding County’s Saturday voting opportunity for the primary election is today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the county’s elections office.

After the polls close today, the next opportunity for voters to cast their ballots is Monday, which is when advance voting begins at three satellite locations—Poplar Springs Baptist Church, 2056 Hiram Douglasville Highway, Hiram; Mount Tabor Park, 1550 East Paulding Drive, Dallas; and the Crossroads Library, 909 Harmony Grove Church Road, Acworth. Voting hours at those three locations are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday; and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.

Voting at the county’s elections office will continue Monday and will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each weekday through Friday.

After the polls close Friday, county voters’ last chance to cast ballots will be at their assigned polling place on July 31. The polls will be open that day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
