Spare Your PCHS Graduation Garb?

Several Paulding County High soon-to-be graduates are in need of caps and gowns for Friday’s graduation ceremony.

If you are a recent graduate of Paulding County High School and have your cap and gown, your alma mater could use your help.

The school is seeking caps and gowns in the school’s colors for use in this year’s graduation ceremony, which is Friday, and for future graduations.

The caps and gowns can be dropped off at the school or at Paulding County Schools’ central office.

Paulding County High’s graduation ceremony is Friday at 7 p.m.—a start time shared by Hiram and North Paulding high schools. East and South Paulding will hold their commencements at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Doesn't each student have to purchase or rent their own gowns? Why would there be a shortage?

Danille, I'm guessing the price of the cap and gown has been a barrier for some needy students. I don't think the need is due to a shortage.
