The college football season ends tonight, and what an ending it will be. Tonight’s BCS National Championship Game is a faceoff between two of the most storied programs that boast a total of 27 national championships.
Notre Dame vs. Alabama. The Fighting Irish against the Crimson Tide. No. 1 vs. No. 2.
Both teams have something to prove tonight. Notre Dame will be fighting to solidify its perfect season, while Alabama will be aiming to prove it was the best one-loss team in the country and worthy of its chance to repeat as the national champion.
Despite its number-two ranking, several prominent sportswriters are picking Alabama to win. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Mark Bradley points out that since the BCS era began, no team has repeated as champ. While that historical fact favors the Irish, Bradley says reality backs up the favored Tide.
“Mr. College Football” Tony Barnhart says Alabama coach Nick Saban is doing the best he has done in his 17 years of serving as a head coach, while his team has posted college football’s best numbers in total defense and rushing defense. But Barnhart says the Tide tonight is fighting another piece of history—Alabama is 1-5 against Notre Dame in their six meetings in the annals of college football; furthermore, the Tide has never beaten the Irish to win a national championship.
But another piece of history will be written tonight, and after 60 minutes on the field, we should know if Bama will bring home its 15th national championship, or if Notre Dame will notch its 14th.
We want to know which team you’re pulling for, or which squad’s players you think will be hoisting the crystal football trophy when all is said and done.
Who will win tonight’s BCS National Championship—Notre Dame or Alabama? What do you think the final score will be? Which team are you rooting for?

It doesn't matter to me, I can't stand either team! I hate Alabama as bad as I hate Georgia Bull-mutts!

I am not a football fan, but I pray for both of teams to play out their actual level they have while playing, to bring satisfaction for their own, and to let audiences have fun in the same time with following God's will. In Jesus’s name, Amen!

I agree with Zachary and strongly with Rhonda. And, Charles, maybe a happy pill will help you. May each team play their very best. Roll, Tide, ROLL!

If you are not for either team you should not comment. I like Notre Dame but Alabama will win.
