Two More Arrests in EPHS Vandalism Investigation

Twenty-one teens have now been arrested in connection with the early Sunday vandalism of the school and nearby areas.

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday afternoon released the names and mugshots of two more teens arrested in connection with the vandalism of East Paulding High and surrounding areas.

Seventeen-year-old Avery Tyler Brown and 18-year-old Reginald Liss join the 19 other teens who face charges in the wake of the incident, which saw the words “Senior” and “2012” spray-painted across the school’s campus—including the guard shack, two county vehicles and the roadway—and the subdivision across the street.

PCSO Cpl. Ashley Henson said investigators are still in the process of interviewing people and believe that more arrests are forthcoming.

Previously arrested were 17-year-olds Courtney Reede Grant, Hunter Harry Ledbetter, Brandon Lee Owensby, William Patrick, Courtney Lynn Turner and Zachariah Jame Zazverskey. Under Georgia law, the justice system treats all 17-year-olds as adults.

The eleven 18-year-olds previously arrested were Olamide Ayobele Akinbohun, Jamie Raquel Bowder, Christian Armani Browder, Deanna Marie Dane, Michael Chance Kornegay, Walter Lewis III, Harold Gene Nowden, Jovanca Briana Pazmino, Joshua Alexendria Pete, Andres Bryce Forn Suttles and Madison Nicole Wood. Also arrested were 19-year-olds Jeremy Rogers and Devantae Alexander Terrell.

The Paulding County Sheriff’s Office and the Paulding County School District are urging those with any additional information to contact the Criminal Investigations Division at the Sheriff’s Office at 770-443-3105.

Dallas-Hiram Patch will have more on this story as it develops.

I can not understand why these boys thought that doing this was correct, what they were thinking about doing something so stupid against the institution which gave them shelter, education, guide and more ....
But, because their are young people who are just beginning their lives,,,, I wish you all good luck and may have to overcome this problem with learning that helps them to make their lives better for yourselves and others in the future.

Kids will be kids, but its nuts how far they went. It makes me feel old! Whats wrong with kids these days? More and more spoiled & reckless with each generation, it seems. A little vandalism is understandable for dumb kids, but this was total destruction of the place theyre supposed to be proud of. I guess school pride is uncool these days..i hope theyre punished, but theyre talking about felonies etc...cmon ppl thats way too harsh. That will ruin their lives. Give them all a ton of community service & make them clean up trash all summer, or something like that. Thatd be a fitting punishment, and it wouldnt wreck their lives
