Even before its doors opened at 9 a.m., all the shopping carts had been taken by those awaiting the opening of Hiram’s newest grocery store—ALDI.

The store, at 5746 Wendy Bagwell Parkway in Hiram, is one of 90 the company plans to open this year. Its opening in Paulding came just weeks after the closing of Dallas' Food Lion and just over a year since Kroger closed the doors of its Hiram location.

The Hiram store will be open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. ALDI accepts cash, debit and EBT cards.
