World Trade Center Steel Piece Dedicated
Paulding County officials unveiled a piece of the World Trade Center on Friday, which will serve as a reminder of those who lost their lives in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
Paulding County officials and community members were among those on hand at the Watson Government Complex in Dallas on Friday during the unveiling of a piece of steel from the World Trade Center in New York City, one of the places hit during the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
The piece of steel, along with a plaque that will be displayed along with it, will honor those will lost their lives in the attacks as well as those who sacrificed their lives to save others that day.
