A church in metro Atlanta is needed for filming of the movie All Saints. This movie is based on a true story about a young pastor who helps save a struggling church in Tennessee by helping the parishioners open their own farm next door. This is a very family-friendly movie, according to Kevin W. Kirby, Paulding Chamber of Commerce. Pictures of the two churches (attached) are similar to what they are looking for. Here are the particulars of what is needed: 1. The church needs to sit next to a large field (30 acres or so) that could possibly be turned into farm land with crops. 2. Needs to be large enough to have a fellowship hall and offices so one-room churches won’t work. 3. Denomination is not important, but the church in the script …

Relay for Life of Paulding County is being held at White Oak Park in Dallas, with the event’s opening ceremony set for 6:45 p.m. Seventy-four teams from all across Paulding as well as close to 1,000 participants are set to take part in the event. Dallas-Hiram Patch, with the help of 278themix.com, will be streaming video straight from the event tonight through Saturday morning. A year ago, Jordan Rager was just coming off his stint as a contestant on NBC’s show “The Voice” and getting ready to graduate from Loganville High School. This year, he's getting ready to go on tour. According to his mother, Connie Rager, this tour is just what the young musician needs to kickstart his career. "Since graduating LHS last May, he's full speed ahead with his music career and this upcoming tour is just what he needs to continue to build his fan base with tons of college age folks," Rager said, adding he's continued to work hard. Paulding County middle school students will showcase their visual and performing arts talents Thursday to bring attention to child abuse and neglect. The 2nd Annual CASA Paulding Light of Hope Talent Show will begin with a free visual arts display at 5:30 p.m. May 9 at the Dallas Civic Center. Performing artists will take the Dallas Theater stage at 7:00 p.m. Tickets, which are available at the box office or online, are $8.
