A Hoya Hello, which is freshman orientation at Harrison High School, will be held Thursday, Aug. 9, from 8-10 a.m. in the Presidential Gym.
Sophomores, juniors and seniors can attend Hoya Pride Day to receive their schedules, yearbook, PTSA and class dues information. Check-in is on Main Street. Times are as follows:
Seniors: 10:30 a.m.
Sophomores: 1 p.m.
Juniors: 2 p.m.

Founded in 1991, Harrison High School ranks in the top 6% of public high schools and has been recognized as a Georgia School of Excellence. The school has over 20 varsity athletic teams, and the Hoyas have taken home over 100 region championships in different sports. The Harrison High School band has received international awards and earned a spot in the 2009 Macy's Thanksgiving Parade.
