This year’s Salute to the Stars & Stripes will be held Saturday, July 2, at Ben Hill Strickland Sr. Memorial Park in Hiram. The event will feature GLOW, a seven-piece “performance dance/show band" comprised of talented musicians and vocalists from the Southeast. In addition to music, the Hiram High School TouchDown Booster Club and other local food vendors in addition to local nonprofits will be providing food, beverages and fun kids' activities.

Down the road from historic downtown Hiram, Ben Hill Strickland Sr. Memorial Park is a 12-plus-acre area with several amenities, including a nature trail and pond, three playground areas, tennis courts, a basketball court, and several goals and picnic areas. The park also has two pavilions and the City of Hiram Amphitheater, which is used to host city events such as concerts and movies. The pavilions may also be rented for special occasions.
