In celebration of Homecoming, Hiram High School will parade in the Historic Downtown Hiram area. The football team, cheerleaders, Homecoming Court representatives, JROTC Color Guard, Hiram High Marching Band and other clubs and organizations will be participating in this year's parade.
The parade set-up will begin at 5:15 pm in the parking lots behind the Beatty Street Building and behind City Hall. The parade is scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm, stepping off at the corner of Main and Beatty Streets, continuing through nearby residential areas and ending in Historic Downtown Hiram.

Garrett Gray built Grays Mill in 1850, which became the original namesake of the town. The city of Hiram was established in 1891. Recent population estimates list the city as having more than 2,100 residents.
