Braves superstars Brian Jordan and Otis Nixon are hosting a MVP Baseball Camp fundraiser at South Paulding High July 14. The camp focuses on baseball as well as role modeling and leadership.
Registration is $95 and includes all-day camp with Jordan and Nixon, lunch, scrimmage with pro athletes and autographs.
Jordan is a major league All-Star and 14-year veteran with the Braves, Cardinals, Rangers and Dodgers. He is also one of the only athletes to play in both the NFL (Atlanta Falcons) and MLB.
Otis Nixon is a 17-year major league veteran who had more than 1,300 hits and 600 stolen bases in the major leagues. After retirement, Nixon began On-Track Ministries and is a motivational speaker-sharing his story of overcoming addictions.

More About South Paulding High School
Home to the burgundy-and-gold Spartans, South Paulding High School is one of five high schools in the Paulding County system. The school educates ninth through 12th graders and opened in 2006. It offers college prep and career tracks and a number of extracurricular activities, including sports and clubs.
The 230,000-square-foot facility includes 98 instructional units, a 510-seat theater, a 1,500-seat main gym and more than 4,000-seat stadium. It is located next to Dugan Elementary on Winn Rd in Douglasville.
