More About W.C. Abney Elementary School
W.C. Abney Elementary School began in the late 1800s as a one-room school known as the New Hope School. The new Abney Elementary was built in 2009-2010 and is currently the largest elementary school in the county with a capacity of up to 1,200 students. The school's mascot is the eagle.
