Young writers will have the opportunity to fine tune their creative writing skills in this workshop designed for children ages 8-13. The program lasts approximately one hour and no parents or younger siblings will be allowed to attend, although they should remain in the library at all times. Attendees should bring their own notebook and writing utensils.

More About Powder Springs Library
The Powder Springs Library moved to its current location in the Coach George E. Ford Cultural Arts and Community Center in January 2008; also at the site is a reception hall, senior center and soon-to-be-open cultural arts center.
The library houses a collection of more than 50,000 items. In addition to its collection, it offers reading groups and other activities. Adjoining the library is a public meeting room with a capacity of 50.
