If you've yet to dig those jackets and coats out of the closet, today
may be the day to consider getting ready for some chilly weather.
The National Weather Service has issued a frost advisory, in
effect from 2 to 9 a.m. Thursday, for portions of north and central
Georgia, which includes Dallas, Hiram and Paulding County. Temperatures are
expected to range from the lower to middle 30s, mainly along and north
of a line from LaGrange to the city of Forsythe to Warrenton. Sensitive
outdoor plants could be killed if left uncovered, according to the
frost advisory means that frost is expected. Paulding County could see
another frost Friday night and early Saturday morning and maybe a freeze
warning for parts of northern Georgia, according to the NWS' hazardous weather outlook.
