Windsong Properties Celebrates 10th Anniversary in Dallas

Instead of the traditional 10 year anniversary gift of tin or aluminum, Windsong Properties is celebrating with gold and giving back to the community. On Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013 at the 33rd OBIE Awards, the active adult builder received a Gold OBIE from the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association’s Sales and Marketing Council for its Stratton floor plan at Bel-Aire in the Single Family Builder – Detached – $290,000 to $349,000 category.

Located in Powder Springs, Bel-Aire’s Stratton plan has many unique design concepts. Interior features include a spacious great room perfect for entertaining, a gourmet kitchen, a master suite on the main level, a permanent staircase to a floored attic and an innovative casita, a private suite off the breezeway. The Stratton also boasts a private courtyard retreat for enjoying the outdoors and its stimulating properties.

Hosted at the Bentley model home at Windsong Manor in the Seven Hills community in Dallas, attendees of Windsong’s annual anniversary party donated more than 1,000 pounds of food to support MUST Ministries’ food pantry.

At the party, Romeyn also acknowledged that the active adult market is growing and as it does, so will Windsong Properties. This year alone, the builder sold out at its Garden Street community in Downtown Woodstock, began construction on 75 courtyard homes at Heron Pond in Woodstock, started building a new clubhouse at Bel-Aire in Powder Springs and hired six new employees.
