11Alive to Broadcast from Dallas Friday

News personalities Karyn Greer, Ted Hall, Donna Lowry and Chesley McNeil are expected to make the trip to Paulding County.

Heads up, Dallas commuters.

The road between the Dallas Theater and the town square will be temporarily shut down early Friday.

That's because the 11Alive morning team will broadcast from Dallas as part of its "This Is Home" road series.

Officials anticipate a large crowd, and want to accommodate visitors.

During the news broadcast, which airs from 4:30 a.m. to 7 a.m., 11Alive will highlight what makes Dallas unique.

"We go inside the Historic Dallas Theater to find out why they were able to survive the recession when other community theaters failed," according to the 11Alive website. "Their production of Annie is back on the stage this weekend."

Dallas is the second stop in 11Alive's summer hometown tour. The show was in Stockbridge last week.
