A Hot, Possibly Rainy Day for a Called County Meeting

1. There is a slim chance the hot and sunny weather we’ve seen the last few days could see a slight alteration.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a 20-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Otherwise, today is set to be mostly sunny with a high in the low 90s—no surprise there. Tonight, partly cloudy with a low in the mid 60s.

2. The will hold a called meeting today at 10 a.m. in the Board of Commissioners Boardroom of the Watson Government Complex in Dallas. The meeting will be to discuss the county’s fiscal year 2012 budget. We’ll have a few more details for you later this morning and further coverage later today.
