College Information and Easter Weekend Plans Are Within Reach

Here are a few things to know as you begin your Thursday.

1. Coming up from an overnight low of about 58 degrees, we should see the mercury to come close to the 80-degree mark today, the National Weather Service says. But the springtime temps could come coupled with showers and thunderstorms, which are likely, mainly after 2 p.m. Overall, the chance of precipitation is 60 percent. Tonight’s low will dip to just under the 60-degree line.

The forecast for Saturday and Sunday so far ranges from mostly sunny to sunny. We’ll see how that prediction holds up as the weekend nears.

2. Wednesday’s weather wasn’t as bad as forecasters said it could’ve been, which was good for area golfers taking part in a charity golf tournament. .
