Why Go: Enjoy a peaceful canoe ride at sunset on a tranquil creek. Must be 18 years of age.

Ruins To Rapids Full Moon Hike

Where/When: Sweetwater State Park, 1750 Mount Vernon Road, Lithia Springs; Saturday, 8 - 10 p.m.

Why Go: Enjoy a beautiful state park by hiking for 1 1/ 2 miles inside a Civil-War era textile mill and follow the rapids of Sweetwater Creek. A flashlight and good hiking shoes recommended. No children under 6 and no dogs.

Pricing: $6 per person/$5 for parking. All proceeds go directly to the Friends of Sweetwater Creek
