Getting the Word Out

The best kept "Bible" secret in Douglasville!

If you have been searching the AM stations on a Sunday afternoon, you may have happened across WDCY Douglaville, 1520 AM. During the week you can get a daily dose of local and national evangelists, and classic gospel music, but every Sunday (morning and afternoon) they feature local pastors and preachers (myself included at 3:30 PM). You can see their Sunday broadcast schedule on their website... give it a look, maybe you will see a name you recognize. From this same location, Word Christian Broadcasting transmits through WDPC 1500 AM servicing Dallas, GA and WNEA 1300 AM servicing Newnan, GA.

The President and Operations Manager, Dr. Ken Johns, attends Kingsway Baptist Church. You can catch a glimpse of him singing “I've had a wonderful life” on Youtube. Who knows, you may have seen him around town.

This is all great information for those looking for a daily feeding from the Word of God, but did you know that there is an awesome, well stocked Bible bookstore there also? The Christian Supply Outlet features KJV specific Bibles, study materials, literature, pamphlets, Sunday school and home schooling resources, and Christian greeting cards. They are located at 8451 South Cherokee Blvd, Suite B, 770- 920-1520 (Right behind the Shell Station, on Highway 5, just off I-20). Take a quick tour of their website, and stop by to give them your support. Tell them Bro. Glenn sent you!

The Christian Supply Outlet is off of Fairburn Road, not Highway 5

Yes, it is off of Fairburn Road. Thanks for catching that mistake. I apologize to all the readers, but especially to the Christian Supply Outlet! Thanks Fred
