How Certain Is Rain in Today's Forecast?

Here are a few things to know as your Wednesday gets rolling.

1. Rain is all but certain today, says the National Weather Service.

Meteorologists put the chance of precipitation at 100 percent, as showers and possibly a thunderstorm are possible before 2 p.m., with showers and thunderstorms expected to hit after 2 p.m.; those storms could produce fairly heavy rainfall. Today’s high will be near 64; tonight’s low, 44, with the chance of precipitation about 80 percent in your evening hours.

2. The Paulding Child Advocacy Center will host a free training program Monday at West Ridge Church in Dallas. The program is described as "a revolutionary sexual abuse prevention program that educates adults to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.” .
