Learn About Gardening From the Masters

Paulding County UGA Cooperative Extension Master Gardeners are offering gardening programs this spring. Come join them to learn about garden topics from the landscape to the vegetable garden.

Do you love spending time in the yard or garden? Wish you knew more about gardening, whether it is homegrown veggies or colorful flowers—like what to do before you plant, where to plant, then what to do to get great squash or tomatoes? Come learn about gardening from the masters ... the Master Gardeners, that is!

Paulding County University of Georgia Cooperative Extension and Master Gardeners are planning several gardening programs to help you learn about gardening right here in Paulding County. Whether you are new to gardening or an experienced gardener, you are welcome to come out and learn about interesting and timely gardening topics to help you improve your garden.

This spring’s current lineup includes classes on shrubs, vegetable gardening and lawn care. The first class is scheduled for Thursday, March 24, at 10 a.m. at the Paulding County Library. Tommy Gordon, Paulding County Master Gardener, will share a program on “Propagation of Azaleas and Camellias.” Come learn from him how to make more plants in your garden.
