If you have a few extra dollars, nearby spas can provide you with an inviting break from your everyday schedule—and one is just for men and boys.

In a sports-themed environment, this spa is for men and boys only. They can watch sports while getting their hair cut and enjoying massages of the scalp, upper neck and shoulders with a hot steamed towel. No appointment is necessary.

2. Allon Salon, 5745 Wendy Bagwell Parkway, Hiram
Services include haircuts, conditioning and scalp treatments, waxing, permanents, relaxers, coloring and spa services, including facials.
Costs: $80 for a facial, $8 to $35 for waxing, $60 to $100 for chemical services, $7 to $33 for cuts and styles.

3. Conscious Touch Massage and Bodywork for Women, 67 Antioch Road, Dallas off Ga. 92
Massage therapy sessions are made only by appointment with licensed massage therapist Kim Cooper. All sessions last 90 minutes for women only. Answers to frequently asked questions may be found here.
Costs: $95 for Swedish massage; $100 for Sacred Lomi, or Hawaiian massage.

Available by appointment only, services include skin and body treatments, massage therapy, precision cuts and coloring, nail services, laser hair removal, permanent cosmetics and Botox. La Bella has been owned by Fred and Jodi Sherman since September 2010.
On Friday and Saturday, 10 percent of all profits will go to Paulding County's Relay for Life to benefit the American Cancer Society.
