Paulding to Offer Free Gun Safety Seminar

It will be held June 1.

Learn all you need to know about handgun safety, proper shooting techniques, weapon maintenance and Georgia firearm laws at the Paulding County Sheriff's Office handgun clinic.

The free clinic, which will be held from 8 a.m. to noon June 1 at the Paulding County Sheriff's Office Training Center, is open to the first 15 residents and business owners who register for the class and pass a background check, according to the agency's Facebook page.

Those with felony convictions and misdemeanor domestic violence convictions will not be allowed in the class.

To register, pick up a packet from the Paulding County Sheriff's Office, 247 Industrial Way North, Dallas.

Interested participants must be at least 18 years old and have their own weapons and ammunition.
