Plenty of Sunshine, Heat For Your Weekend

Here are a few things to know before going out of the house to enjoy the weekend.

1. The liquid in the thermometer will be stretching higher than it did earlier this week.

The National Weather Service says today’s high temperature will hit just over the 90-degree mark under sunny skies. Tonight will be mostly clear, with a low just under 60. Sunday’s daytime high should be pretty similar to today’s, coupled with mostly sunny skies, while the evening low will be about 64.

2. Though it’s not necessarily an event that will benefit from the sunshine, one of today’s scheduled happenings is the set for 9 a.m. at the Mount Tabor Park recreation office.
