Snow in November? Yes, Experts Say

Paulding County could see some snow showers Tuesday, but temps—albeit cold ones—will keep any such weather from sticking.

Paulding residents could see a little bit of “the white stuff” fall from the sky tomorrow, but they shouldn’t expect anything of significance, according to local forecasts.

Officials with Paulding County Schools said they don’t expect the weather to cause a need to close schools or delay tomorrow’s openings, but David Colvard, the district’s executive director of Safety and Athletics, said reports and conditions will be monitored closely tonight and tomorrow.

The National Weather Service says rain and snow showers are likely for Dallas and Hiram Tuesday before 1 p.m., with a slight chance of rain showers in the afternoon. The chance of precipitation is high at 70 percent, but little to no snow accumulation is expected—temperatures are expected to reach a high near 40 degrees, up from the overnight low of about 34.
