This Bible School Breaks Myths

Vertical Life Church will be offering its Mythbusters Vacation Bible School, July 15 through 18. After celebrating their first anniversary on June 1, this will be the first vacation bible school ever offered by church members.

"We will bust common myths children may have about themselves," Rachel Adair said, preschool director. "There will be music, bible stories, crafts, live skits and recreation. We've written our own curriculum. It's brand new and has not been seen in other places.

"We'll break myths that children have, like 'I'm too young to make a difference' or 'I'm too messed up already for God to use me.' We bust the myths using scripture and bible stories.

Ages 3 through completed 5th graders may participate.

Parents may register their children at the church website or go to the church Facebook page for more information.

Church members meet for services at 10 a.m. every Sunday at Abney Elementary School.
