Thunderstorms Likely All Day

Paulding County is under a hazardous weather outlook that is likely to mess up morning traffic and continue all day.

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for the Paulding County and portions of north and central Georgia.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue over the northern tier into the overnight period, spreading into portions of west central Georgia, according to the NWS. The service is predicting isolated strong storms with strong winds as well as frequent cloud to ground lightning.

Showers and thunderstorms are likely all day today. New rainfall amounts are predicted at a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Tonight showers and thunderstorms are likely to continue. Cloudy, with a low around 69. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
