Video: Hiram's Christmas Tree Lighting

We also want to see the photos and video you shot during Friday's Christmas Tree Lighting in Hiram.

Those who came out to Friday night’s Christmas Tree Lighting event in Hiram got to see live music, Santa Claus and even snowfall—albeit manmade snow.

If you didn’t make it to the downtown festivities (or even if you did), we’ve brought you a video of some of the goings-on of the evening for your enjoyment. But we couldn’t be in every place at every moment, so we weren’t able to capture all of the magical moments experienced by all attendees. That’s where you come in.

If you took photos or shot video during Friday’s event, we hope you’ll share them with your fellow readers. If you’re a Patch user (and joining is free if you aren’t), you can upload them to this article. Your name will appear next to your uploaded photos/videos so others can see where the credit is due. We'll also be putting the best photos and videos you shot in the feature spot of this article, so if you upload any, return here to see if your work gets that honor.

Later today, we'll bring you more video highlights—this time from the 19th-annual Invitational Christmas Parade in downtown Dallas. We also hope to see your photos and videos from that event.

We’ll be inviting you very soon to share even more sights and sounds of the holiday season, so please stick around at Dallas-Hiram Patch!
