The MAGIC of Cities - starring Joe M. Turner

The City of Dallas will celebrate Georgia Cities Week 2012 with a fantastic program of visual and psychological illusions presented by metro-Atlanta favorite and Dallas resident Joe M. Turner.  Turner is a professional speaker, mentalist and sleight-of-hand magician who frequently performs at corporate events and prominent entertainment venues, often billed as the "Chief Impossibility Officer." The show will take place at 6pm on Tuesday, April 24th, and it is a free event. All seats are first come, first served. The Dallas Theater is located at 208 Main Street in Dallas, Georgia.

Lenay Walker, manager and artistic director of the Dallas Theater, announced the upcoming show with excitement.  "We decided to do a magic show because each year the city produces an event  in keeping with the theme of Georgia Municipal Association’s Georgia Cities Week," she said.  "This year’s theme is 'The Magic of Cities.'  Naturally, we thought of our local famed magician Joe M. Turner! Joe has performed here previously for his annual Midsummer Magic shows, we knew he would put on an outstanding show appropriate for the entire family. Joe’s combination of showmanship, talent and awe-inspiring magic made him the perfect choice to help us celebrate the magic of cities."

Joe M. Turner is a professional speaker and entertainer who has appeared frequently on the Dallas Theater stage. He has performed all over America and last year performed at the London Palladium.  He has been seen on Good Morning America, Nightline, CNN HLN, and numerous local, national, and international television broadcasts.  Find out more about him at his web site (http://www.turnermagic.com/) or on his Facebook page (http://facebook.com/turnermagic).

Georgia Cities Week gives cities an opportunity to share information about the valuable services cities provide to resident and how cities positively impact their quality of life.  The 2012 theme, "The Magic of Cities," reflects the transformational properties of cities and how they provide quality of life through infrastructure, economic development and essential services.  For more information about Georgia Cities Week, visit http://www.gmanet.com/GCW.aspx
