Your teens are holding a car wash at the high school Saturday. The grandparents volunteered to take the younger children to a movie Sunday afternoon. Your tweens take tap on Wednesday evening. It’s your time. Take it.
Each week, we’ll tell you about great ideas to give you a much-deserved break and make your life a little easier—maybe a whole lot easier.
The ninth-annual Fall Fest of the Paulding Fine Arts Association will be held Saturday in downtown Dallas. Original arts and crafts "of a family-oriented nature" may be displayed and sold, but 10-foot-by-10-foot spaces are limited to 30 exhibitors.
Here is the application for those interested in renting spaces to sell their original arts and crafts. Costs are $20 for Paulding Fine Arts Association members and $40 for nonmembers. Checks should be made payable to Paulding Fine Arts Association or PFAA. Entries should be postmarked by Thursday and mailed to:
Paulding Fine Arts Association
P.O. Box 403
Dallas, GA 30132
If exhibitor spaces remain, late applications will be accepted by bringing your application and booth fee to the festival by 7:30 a.m. Saturday. Set-up lasts from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Organizers say the event will be held rain or shine.
Prizes will be raffled from the High Museum of Art, Booth Western Art Museum, Center for Puppetry Arts, Stone Mountain Park and Creekside Golf and Country Club.
