When/Where: Friday, 8-9 p.m. at Red Top Mountain State Park, 50 Lodge Road SE, Cartersville

Why Go: Meet at the far side of Visitor Center parking lot for a ranger-led night hike. Hike is about 1 mile on an easy trail. Great for the whole family.

Glover Park Concert Series

When/Where: Friday, 8-10 p.m. at Glover Park in the Marietta Square

Why Go: Enjoy “Yacht Rock,” party-rock-type music, under the stars in the park. Bring a picnic dinner and a blanket.
