Henry's Uptown is a Hit

Looking for a couple’s night to get out and let your hair down? Henry’s Uptown is just the place! Located in Acworth, just 15 minutes east of Paulding County, Henry’s Uptown is a fun atmosphere for a Friday night out while staying close to home. Just upstairs, above Henry’s Louisiana Grill (), Uptown is a large open space with a full-service bar, though smoking is not permitted. Local musicians set up and patrons are encouraged to dance the night away. While waiting for your dinner table downstairs, customers can visit upstairs at no charge and a courteous hostess will come get you when your table is ready. 

While upstairs, customers can enjoy Henry’s wonderful appetizers with their cocktail. Offerings include Popcorn Shrimp, flash fried, served with remoulade sauce and hoisin; Popcorn Crawfish, prepared very similar to the popcorn shrimp; or Hot Chili Gator, flash fried, tossed in hoisin and topped with remoulade sauce. Any of these options are light, delicious and will not ruin your appetite for Henry’s Louisiana Grill’s delicious entrees.

Henry’s Uptown is also available for special events. Spacious hardwood floors and high ceilings are conducive for business meetings, wedding receptions or any celebration. A buffet menu is available for special occasions. As with Henry’s Louisiana Grill, owner and head chef Henry always wants his customers to feel welcomed and appreciated.

For Friday night live music, various types of bands and musicians keep guest entertained until about mid-night. Anything from blues to rock ‘n’ roll can be expected. Check the website for upcoming performances. I visited when The Dead Kegs performed, a local rock ‘n’ roll cover band that kept the house rocking. Good music, good food and good times can be had at Henry’s Uptown, with only a $5 cover; this is a good date night, close to home.
