Local McDonald’s Stores Offering ‘Mighty Wings’

The restaurant chain's new chicken wings will be available while supplies last, but will only be available in the Atlanta metro area, including Paulding County, this year.

Atlanta this week became the only U.S. city to introduce McDonald’s new Mighty Wings. These crispy, crunchy, spicy, bone-in chicken wings are aimed at bringing a whole new flavor experience to chicken fans across the area.

Available throughout the metro area, including Dallas and Hiram, as part of a McDonald’s national menu test, Mighty Wings soar onto the menu with a variety of sauces. Sweet, spicy, cool or crisp, the Mighty Wings can be paired three different dipping sauces—Creamy Ranch, Spicy Buffalo or Tangy BarBeQue.

“Research shows that our guests today want more, meaty, bone-in chicken options,” said Donavon Groen, president of the Greater Atlanta McDonald’s Operator’s Association, in a news release. “McDonald’s is excited to bring chicken lovers across Atlanta a great-tasting wing that delivers a new, unexpected flavor experience that is bold and delicious.”

The wings are available in three-, five- and 10-piece options that can be enjoyed by themselves or paired with fries and a beverage as part of an extra value meal.

As part of the market-wide rollout beginning this week, the new Mighty Wings will be available in all Atlanta-area McDonald’s restaurants for a suggested price starting at $2.99 while supplies last.
