Target to Match Prices with Amazon, Walmart, Others

As an extension of their holiday "price-match" policy, the store hopes to encourage business in their brick-and-mortar stores.

Target Corp., which maintains a store in Hiram, announced last week that it will match prices with top online retailers year-round, including Amazon.com, Walmart.com, BestBuy.com and Toysrus.com (including Babiesrus.com).

If a shopper buys an item at Target, then finds the same product at any of the select online retailers or a local competitor within seven days, Target will match the price. Target stores will also price match items found on Target.com.

“Guests can confidently shop at Target every day for the best value in retail,” said Gregg Steinhafel, Target chairman, president and CEO, in the press release.
