A staffing company will be seeking next week a number of laborers to help a Dallas store rearrange its shelves and merchandise.
According to officials at the Georgia Department of Labor’s Cartersville Career Center, Altruistic Staffing is seeking workers to fill temporary positions at the Walmart on Marietta Highway in Dallas. The staffing company will hold its recruitment event at the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce—455 Jimmy Campbell Parkway in Dallas—on Monday, Jan. 28, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Those attending Monday’s event should have two forms of government-issued ID (driver’s license, voter registration ID, Social Security or state ID card, etc.) at the time of their application and must be able to show eligibility to work in the United States. Workers should be able to lift 25 pounds or more at a time.
Hired candidates likely will begin working Monday, Feb. 4, and will be tasked with moving and installing shelves, moving and restocking merchandise upon completion of shelf installation, and other duties as needed.
Work at the Dallas store is expected to last about two months, and workers could potentially be given other assignments upon completion of the Paulding project.
