Only one of four Paulding football teams in action on Friday walked away from its game victorious. One of those teams was East Paulding, which dropped it first game of the season to Pope. See the scores of Paulding’s teams and schools from Cobb, Cherokee, Bartow, Paulding and Douglas counties in our most recent Friday football scoreboard. We’ll set to bring you a full wrap-up of local action later today.

We featured two exceptional students on our site on Thursday.  Paulding County High’s Damon Galloway was named our latest “” for his . On the college level, Dallas’ Joe Williams , a group of undergraduate and graduate students focused on exceptional journalism.

With Halloween just a few days away, we’re sure many of you are preparing or have already set up your home or office decorations and your kids’ costumes. If you pride yourself over the creativity put into either area, you should enter one, or both of our Halloween-themed costumes. , and you can win $200.
