Here are a few things to know as many of you head back to the daily grind after the holiday weekend.

1. There’s a four-out-of-five chance we’ll have rain today, the National Weather Service says, with showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 8 a.m., then showers likely between 8 and 2 p.m., then scatter showers and storms after 2 p.m. The good news is the conditions will bring today’s high down to about 70, while we’ll see winds of 10 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph. Tonight, we could see scattered showers and storms before 2 a.m., with a slight chance of more rains early Wednesday; beyond that, expect mostly cloudy skies and a low just under 60.
