Grocery Store, Elementary School To Close; Redistricting

As a new week begins, take a few minutes to recap our top headlines from last week, Jan. 9-15.

School news dominated our headlines last week. One big story of the week was the news that would close at the end of this school year as a result of . We’ll continue to follow this story as the school district works to redistrict those affected by the closure.

Paulding County Schools came close to earning a $100,000 prize in Patch's Deck the House contest thanks to the efforts of the Felix family, Ultimately, a house in Davis, Calif., entered by the Powell family received the most votes, so the Davis Joint Unified School District won the grand prize.
