Holiday Will Be Day for Rain

The National Weather Service puts the chance of precipitation at 100 percent today and tonight, with showers and possibly a thunderstorm expected in the day hours, though storms could produce heavy rainfall. By the numbers, today’s forecast calls for a high temperature near 76 and winds of 10 mph with gusts as high as 15 mph. Tonight we should see showers and possibly a storm, with heavy rainfall remaining possible. The low will be just under the 70-degree mark, while winds of 10 to 15 mph could gust as high as 20 mph.
