New Road Project Through Paulding Gets Aired at Open House

The project is a proposal to construct an improved roadway facility from Dabbs Bridge Road in Paulding County through Cobb and Bartow Counties to a new interchange with I-75.

A Public Information Open House concerning the proposed I-75 at Third Army Road Interchange in Paulding, Cobb and Bartow Counties will be held at 5 p.m. today.

The project is a proposal to construct an improved roadway facility from Dabbs Bridge Road in Paulding County through Cobb and Bartow Counties to a new interchange with I-75.

The purpose of this Open House is to provide the public with an opportunity to view the proposed project, ask questions, and comment on the proposal. The Open House will be informal and the public is invited to attend anytime during these hours.

The Cobb County Department of Transportation will hold the open house from 5-7 p.m. at Wellstar Acworth Health Park, 4550 Cobb Parkway, Acworth, Georgia 30101.

There will be no formal presentation. A court reporter will be available during this time to allow the public an opportunity to make comments about the project. These comments will be included in the transcript of the Open House.

Written statements will be accepted concerning this project until April 11, 2013. Written statements may also be submitted to: Mr. Michael Cates, P.E. Cobb County DOT 1890 County Services Pkwy Marietta, Georgia 30008-4014.

The displays from the Public Information Open House will be available for review until April 11, 2013 at Cobb County DOT, 1890 County Services Parkway, Marietta, Georgia 30008. The meeting transcript, as soon as it is prepared, will be available at Cobb DOT at the address noted above.
